Mid-Lothian Mines Day
Come out to Mid-Lothian Mines and Railroad Park and learn about the
vast coal mining history that abounded in Midlothian. Activities include
living history demonstrations, coal mining and railroad displays, period
music, children’s games, and trolley tours. The event is free and open to
the public.

Food vendors will be Firehouse Bar-B-Q and Coalmine Coffee. Steam Bell Beer Works will be there.
The Mid-Lothian Mines and Railroad Foundation will be selling its Ball Caps and T-Shirts.
Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the gate.
Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
Plenty of Park parking with overflow parking at American Family Fitness.

Free concert and family fun event scheduled for August 19, 2018
MIDLOTHIAN, VA (July 23, 2018) – Music@The Mines, a free event featuring wholesome live music, children’s activities and family fun, will be held Sunday, Aug. 19, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Mid-Lothian Mines Park, 13301 N. Woolridge Road in Midlothian, next to American Family Fitness.
The no-admission event, sponsored by Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, will feature live contemporary Christian music performed by Mt. Pisgah’s Arise praise band, as well as face-painting, games and crafts for children. Bottled water and refreshments will be available, and pets on leashes are welcome.
Attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies for donation. A collection box will be available on site. Mt. Pisgah will distribute all donated supplies to area schools with children in need.
No registration or RSVPs are required for the event. Everyone is encouraged to drop by anytime during the event time frame for free fun and music.

2016 Wine Festival comes to the MillWorks
“A Celebration of the Vine”, hosted by the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce has grown in attendance in recent years from 1,600 in 2007 to over 5,000 in 2015. As a premier event for the county, it showcases Virginia wines, regional entertainment and community involvement from a cultural and economic standpoint. Having earned the reputation as a “class act” presentation, this successful event incorporates teamwork and volunteerism within the Chesterfield Chamber and the community.
